An Inside Look at Medical Assistant Classes
We recently asked our incredible Medical Assistant dean, Dr. Sharmalan “Sam” Sathiyaseelan, to show us some of the skills that an MA uses in their day-to-day career. Dr. Sam took a break from teaching medical assistant classes to teach us all about how to use an EKG machine.
Dr. Sam walked us through some of the most important steps to performing an EKG, including successfully attaching nodes and remembering the order in which part of the machine connects to which part of the body. You can see more of the great work that happens in our Medical Assistant classes on our Instagram as well.
Thank you again for your help Dr. Sam! And if you’re interested in becoming a medical assistant, you can learn more now. We can’t wait to see you in class!
