Program Schedule

The Massage Therapy Program is a 64 semester-credit-hour program. Students can choose either a full-time or part-time schedule.

SEMESTERS

Applications are accepted for semesters that begin in January, May (or end of April) and September. Semesters are 15 weeks long, with a two or three-week break between each semester.

CLASS TIMES

Classes are held during morning, afternoon or evening/Saturday sessions.

Full-time Schedule

Students in our full-time program have two scheduling options.

Students in our full-time program can choose to complete the program in five-semesters. With this scheduling option, students attend classes three to five days a week (12 to 20 classroom hours). The number of classes per week and days of the week will vary by semester. Students with a five-semester schedule option generally complete the program over a period of 20 months. This option offers a morning, afternoon or evening/Saturday time slot:

Morning classes

Three to five classes a week

Monday to Friday

8:30 am to 12:30 pm

Afternoon classes

Three to five classes a week

Monday to Friday

1:15 pm to 5:15 pm

Evening/Saturday classes

Three to five classes a week that meet on a combination of weekday evenings and/or Saturdays.

Weekday evenings:

6:00 pm to 10:00 pm

and/or Saturday:

9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Part-time Schedule

Part-time students attend two or three classes each week (8 or 12 classroom hours). They generally complete the program in eight semesters over a period of 32 months.

The number of classes per week and days of the week will vary by semester.

Part-time students can take classes in an afternoon or evening/Saturday time slot:

Afternoon classes

Two or three weekday afternoons

1:15 pm to 5:15 pm

Evening/Saturday classes

Two or three classes a week that meet on a combination of weekday evenings and/or Saturdays.

Weekday evenings:

6:00 pm to 10:00 pm

and/or Saturday:

9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Students will receive a class schedule prior to the beginning of each semester (as outlined in the Student Handbook).

A limited number of hours will be required each semester outside of regularly scheduled class times and on weekends for Anatomy field trips, Off-Site internships, Professional Development classes, and Clinic I and Clinic II (see Student Handbook "Requirements Outside of Regularly Scheduled Classes").
